JOB TITLE

Production Manager
Location:United Arab Emirates

Overview

• Effective interpersonal, commanding and communication (both written and verbal) skills in English
• Driving License
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Ten (10) years of experience in similar field
• Previous experience managing and leading a production workforce
• Proven success in ready mix concrete operations

Required Skills

• Complete control of all operations from material procurement up to production and delivery of the concrete,
• Prioritize customer requirements to optimize usage of internal resources
• Develop periodical forecasts to plan resources, optimize the operations to highest efficiency
• Develop method statements for special project requirements
• Manage sub teams and lead other departments to achieve customer appreciations
• Ensure all branches share resources to each achieve efficient distribution
• Identify opportunities for improvements and new systems which would improve operations with the plant
• Resolve consultant & customer requirements / complaints within agreed time and constraints.
• Develop area budgets and provide oversight to improve cost control.

Material Specialist
Location:United Arab Emirates

Overview

Effective interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation and communication (both written and verbal) skills in English
A bachelor's degree in Engineering (Geology, Civil, Chemicals, etc.)
Five (5) years of experience in similar field
Sound knowledge of fundamental concrete technology and raw materials (Cement, GGBS, Fly Ash, Aggregates, Sand, Admixtures)
Experience on handling & treatment & testing & quality control of concrete raw materials
Knowledge about local suppliers, brands, local regulations and specifications within GCC will be an added advantage
Good commercial acumen

Required Skills

Travel occasionally to scan, locate, evaluate and benchmark concrete materials in terms of compliance, regulations, quality and competitiveness
Suggest, develop and manage systems for efficient treatment, handling and usage of materials
Prevent & resolve non-conforming material issues
Manage material In/Out to reduce inventory levels preventing shortage

Professional experience

Support material transfers including Integrated Supplier Program
Technical advisory role on projects including durability design, specification compliance, problem investigation
Techno-commercial procurement & quality control of raw materials
Experience in procurement process (i.e. PO's, GRV's, LPO's, LOC's, SLA's and etc. )
