- Workover Superintendent

WORKOVER SUPERINTENDENT


Manage the workover operations for onshore drilling rigs for well repairs and workover operations in Qatar.
The incumbent is responsible to ensure that the repairs and work-overs are executed in a safe and efficient manner and achieve their objectives.
Staff position on RESIDENTIAL BASIS.
Please apply if you have:

Experience in mature brownfield environments.
20 years experience in drilling operations as a Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Supervisor.
Degree in an engineering discipline (obligatory)
IWCF valid at Supervisor level.

- Operations Engineer

DESCRIPTION
Great opportunity to join leading Oil & Gas Company as Operations Engineer on a permanent contract based in the Gulf region.

The purpose of this job is to plan and supervise the activities performed by 'Rigless' contractors such as well killing, stimulation, nitrogen lifting, descaling, logging, coil tubing, and production testing.

The successful candidate will be ensuring that the work is performed safely and efficiently in accordance with the programme and the DRM (Drilling Reference Manual).


The ideal candidate will have:

* BSc (3-4 year) degree from an accredited University.
* A minimum of 6 years experience in rigless related activities of which at least 2 years in a similar position with an Operating company.
* In-depth knowledge of well completions, stimulation, logging practices and well testing operations.
* Experience with H2S operations.

- Head of Laboratory Services


DESCRIPTION
A fantastic opportunity to join an Oil and Gas Operator in Doha, Qatar as a Head of Laboratory Services.

Primary responsibility will be to direct, monitor and maintain the service delivery, strategic planning, development and operational management of the company healthcare laboratory services. Acting as a Corporate Focal Point for Healthcare Laboratory Services.

The candidate should have:

* A Medical Degree or MB BCh.
* Post-Graduate Degree in Clinical Pathology.
* License to practice as Clinical Pathologist or ability to obtain it from Supreme Council of Health within 6 months after being appointed.
* Minimum experience of 8 years as a Specialist Clinical Pathologist in a multi-disciplinary clinical laboratory to include Clinical Haematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Clinical Immunology and Microbiology, with a knowledge of basic Blood Banking and Serology. Of the 8 years, 3 years should have been in a Managerial capacity.
* Experience in blood sampling techniques.
* Experience in results analysis and interpretation of different laboratory tests.
* Experience in the use of fully automated and computerized laboratory machines.

DESCRIPTION
Permanent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join an Oil and Gas Operator in Doha, Qatar.

The Security Officer will be responsible for planning and implementing all operational/administrative activities and deploying security resources (i.e. manpower, equipment and systems). They will supervise all Guard personnel assigned during the shift, to ensure that the security integrity of the facility is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have:

* A Bachelor's Degree or Accredited (Higher National Diploma) in Security Management.
* Eight (8) years of Security Guarding experience, with four (4) years at Supervisory level (large operational workforce).
* A Valid Driver Licence.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with a diverse group of people.

- Business Development Specialist - Subsurface

Purpose of the role:

Responsible for leading and providing specialized advice on the business strategies, business objectives, business identification, screenings, evaluations and negotiations of new business opportunities, partnerships and M&A and divestments across the entire value chain of oil and gas.
Leading the negotiations of commercial agreements including renewals, restructuring, M&A and divestments.
Experience & Skills

Must have experience in Sub-Surface, Reservoir Engineering or Geology plus experience in a commercial business development role.
Must have experience in Mergers & Acquisitions and commercial considerations.
Minimum 15 years work experience in Oil & Gas industry within reputed NOCs / IOCs of which a number of years directly in business development, evaluations, M&As and negotiations.
Excellent negotiation skills & diplomacy, specialized knowledge of upstream and downstream complexities including risks, markets, commercials, financials, economics.
Strong leadership, organizational and communications skills.
Excellent English language (written & verbal) is a must.
Education

Bachelor/Masters in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum or Chemical. MBA is a plus.

- Structural Engineer


DESCRIPTION
Opportunity for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Client, a Large Oil & Gas Company on a 1 years (renewable) contract assignment based in Qatar.

Primary responsibility will be to lead the structural engineering effort for the execution phase of the offshore installation of additional living quarters and upgrade of gas turbine generators on an offshore platform.

The Structural Engineer will be based at the EPCI Contractor's offices and then follow on to oversee the installation of the facility.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Reporting to Engineering Lead.
* Coordinating the structural engineering design of the EPCI contractor.
Reviewing and monitoring all structural engineering deliverables, vendor data and design changes of the EPCI contractor and provision of timely guidance to the EPCI contractor on all structural engineering related matters.
* Coordinating the structural engineering aspects of the project to ensure the technical objectives are met within the approved scope, budget and schedule.
* Reviewing vendor design documentation and incorporation of vendor's design into the detailed project engineering.
* Monitoring Contractor's performance and providing advice as necessary to ensure Company's design philosophy and specifications are achieved.
* Monitoring and reviewing Contractor's structural fabrication, construction and installation effort and making recommendations to Engineering and Construction Leads.
* Providing timely review of Contractor's structural designs and deliverables.
* Providing timely and coordinated response to EPCI and Construction Contractors' queries regarding structural` engineering.
* Providing technical support and advice to project procurement and construction activities.
* Monitoring Contractor's and vendors' quality control effort.
* Providing start-up and commissioning support to company.
* Interfacing with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance and other functions to complete the project in accordance with company standards and requirements.

The ideal candidate:

* Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
* Minimum of 12 years technical experience in a Structural discipline of offshore installations with minimum 5 years specific involvement in project design, procurement, construction, and start-up for major process facilities, preferably working on behalf of an owner.
* Experience with contractors and worldwide suppliers, in particular those involved in the construction of major offshore facilities, preferably working on behalf of an owner.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in building oil and gas facilities in the Middle East.
* Familiar with applicable International Codes and Standards.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Good team and interpersonal skills.
* Must be flexible and able to adjust priorities according to project demands.
* Ability to make independent decisions on planning, organizing and coordinating solutions to complex problems.
